About Psycho Laughing Chipmunks Album:
1. How did PLC get started?
Jared: Well back in 2004 I was trying to learn how to use a recording program, and I hit a wrong button and BAM...Our voices were high pitched. So we decided to make a song or two out of it..AND PLC WAS BORN!
2.How do you choose which songs to re-do?
Kristin: To pick the PLC songs, Jared and I like to pick songs/artists we really love, or we really hate.
3. How long does it take to make a song?
To make a song, it can take 20 minutes or even a week to make a song. It depends how long the song is, how many parts there are, ect.
4. What is it like to work together in the studio?
Kristin: Working with Jared is AMAZING. Sometimes it can be frustrating when he would burst out laughing while I'm recording and mess it all up. But other wise its so much fun! :P
Jared: It gets crazy. We have a lot of soda, a lot of laughs, and a lot of screaming. There were a few times where we were done with a track and we never pressed record! So things sometimes got stressful...It took us like 10 hours to do Total Eclipse and we had to finish it THAT DAY. Good times!!
5. What's next for PLC?
Kristin: For PLC, Jared and I will continue making songs, and hopefully put out another album in the future ! Hopefully it wont take 5 years.
Jared: We have been writing some original songs so hopefully we can do some of that with PLC which would be pretty interesting.
